Shoeflyer shoe reviewer, Karen, reviews the Franny by Sam Edelman.

At first I didn’t even notice Franny. I passed her by several times, lured away by pairs of fiery red platform stilettos and bright green flats.
Nothing seemed quite right…until I saw her. Perched quietly on the shelf, the promise of soft gray shoes for spring! Yay!

So subtle and almost slipper-like, I couldn’t imagine what the Franny (by Sam Edelman) would look like on my feet. I started to have flashbacks of my Minnetonka moccasin phase, but was swayed by the delicate flower detail and coy peep toe, so I tried them on…

I am happy to report that the darling Franny wedge looks fantastic once on my feet! (See above if you have any doubts about my opinion on this.) The 2 inch wedge heel is a breeze to walk in, and the suede is so soft and cozy I could be wearing a moccasin — but thankfully am not. Instead I am party pretty and ready to dance the night away.

Take Franny out for a night on the town (she won’t disappoint)!

Shoeflyer shoe reviewer, Karen, blogs about her fancy little Biviel shoes

In the Navy

While I am a fan of the ocean, large boats and men in uniform; I am much
more excited by these navy heels from Biviel.

They are a great neutral alternative to black or brown, and so I wear them
with basically everything. Yesterday, I wore them with hot pants and a life
jacket (just kidding). But, for the sailor in all of us they will look
fantastic peaking out from under your snappiest wide-leg trousers.

Like many women, I prefer the appearance of 5′10" to my natural 5′7" (Ok, 5′6
and three quarters), and these wide stacked wood heels help me look my
tallest without sacrificing a bit of comfort. It’s almost like walking on
water. Unfortunately, this Biviel heel is not yet available on Shoefly.com, but if you live near one of four Shoefly shoe boutiques you can pick them up there. That’s the scuttlebutt!

Shoeflyer shoe reviewer, Karen, blogs about the Terra boot by Zita Maria designer shoes.

terra-fic

Italians, shoes, and boots. They just go together. Like Fred and Ginger, french fries and ranch, or Sundays and hangovers (oh, is that just me?).

The "Terra" boot from Italian designer Zita Maria is no exception. Expertly combining sophisticated style with a bit of biker boot flair, the "Terra" is the perfect boot to accent every pair of jeans in your closet, every pair of trousers at the dry cleaners, and all those little skirts you’ve been waiting to wear.

As I was desperately in need of a new pair of brown boots (my well-worn cowboy boots and "what was I thinking" bowling shoe inspired numbers were just not cutting it any more). I was more than pleasantly surprised to find the perfect brown, womens boot that could easily transition from workday to afterwork play with the lubricated ease of a vodka martini.

I found it as soon as I stepped into Shoefly and spied this Zita Maria. I love the warm, off-brown color they call "tobacco" (which unfortunately is perfect for me). It goes with everything, and feels appropriate to every season. I love the comfortable chunky heel in contrast to the pristinely shiny leather and the not quite round, not quite pointed toe.

If you feel your feet may need to get back on Atkins to fit into this sleek boot, never fear! I found that although a little snug at first, they stretch to the perfect fit with a few wears.

Go on, treat yourself to this "earthly" delight.
