Heels: love ‘em. Sore feet: not so much…
We’ve all been there, haven’t we, ladies? Up on your feet, dancing the night away, enjoying the moment and looking good while doing it. After it’s all said and done, however, there’s only one thing you’re thinking about…getting out of those extremely trendy but extremely uncomfortable designer heels. The only problem? You didn’t bring another pair of shoes. Even if you’d thought about it, there’s no place to keep them. And let’s face it: your comfy slippers or tennis shoes aren’t exactly fashion forward. Shoefly’s solution?
Flats. If you get the right pair, they’re compact and moldable, posing no inconvenience to carry around. Plus, flats aren’t just flats anymore. With today’s talented artists and inspired designers, it’s easy to look fabulous wearing a pair of designer flats. If you know you’re going to be on your feet all night in heels, grab a pair of fashionable flats to throw in your purse or bag. Known as emergency flats or portable flats among hardcore heel-wearers, some companies in the UK have recently been offering the packable shoes as an alternative to potato chips and candy bars. Apparently, the need to have flats at someone’s immediate disposal is as great as one’s need to satisfy the sudden onset of hunger.
And I’m not one to disagree.
