The Era of Flowery Feet Begins: Shoes With Flowers
The spring is in full bloom here in Portland, and I’m still craving more blossoms. I’m not alone. Designers have dubbed this the “Season of the Flowers,” and if you ask me, there are few better places to place petals than at a beautiful woman’s feet–or on her shoes. Yesterday, Baltimore Examiner writer Carole Langrall posted a great slideshow of flowery shoes on the runway. Inspired by this lovely collection, I’ve gathered a few Shoefly pairs that feature flowers. Enjoy, and may this spring mark your full blossoming into style!
Marigold by A. Marinelli: metallic tones + t-strap + flowers = shoes fit for a Summer Goddess (like you!).
Organic by Pink Studio: I love the comic book feel of the flowery print on these adorable pumps with a high, sturdy stacked heel.
Tonalis by Pare: The delicate flower on the toe and the wrap-around laces make me think of ballet; I would feel like a dancer when prancing around town in these comfy-yet-eye-catching espadrilles.
Elicia by BCBG: Gotta love that sweet floral vamp detailing. Bonus: a super-soft and supportive insole will help your feet flower-fresh and perky all day.
Frida by Pink Studio: There are only a few of these left, but what a price! I can’t believe they’re just $22. I thought that kind of leather detailing on a bias would cost more.
