Wednesday Shoes: Kicks to get you over the hump

Wednesday. Hump Day. Woden‘s Day, originally. It’s here, and I’m wondering what shoes are best for Wednesdays. If you’re like me, Wednesday is a tantalizing weekly landmark. The week tips toward the weekend sometime around noon. This also means the workweek is half over, and you might be wondering how you can possibly finish your projects and meet your deadlines. What shoes should you step into to get you through this most transitional of weekdays?

O’Neill has a Wednesday shoe that looks fit for a yacht, rather than a cubicle.

Ahoy, inappropriately named flats ahead!

Sketchers has also skated into the Wednesday shoes arena with their Scout-Wednesday skating shoe. Looks more like a Sunday shoe to me– otherwise, how are those guys supporting their skating addiction? (Then again, for all I know, these skate-heads could be blogging away in the same vegan bakery-cafe as this shoe-head.)

Just roll over the weekly hump on your sweet board....

I suggest Wednesday shoes that energize your step, wow co-workers, and bring a smile to your face. I like the Aisha by Fornarina, shown below. Top reasons to wear these unique boots on a Wednesday:

  1. The comfy factor. Who wants to wear stilettos on a Wednesday? Not me. Better go for a flat to help you stay stable and grounded throughout Wednesday’s unpredictable occurrences.
  2. Unique and Capable. That’s the message your co-workers will get when they spot these funky boots.
  3. Easy to Wear and Pair. They peek out under sleek slacks. Or they bring the boogie to your toes on the dance floor. These shoes are as unique and multifaceted as you are!
