Embrace The Colors of Summer
Harper’s Bizarre has a great spread in this month’s issue on incorporating the bold colors of summer into your wardrobe. It highlighted the use of the colors that typically dominate large floral prints and tweeds during the summer and fall months. Think juicy, saturated colors – orange, purples and yellows. I found some great shoes that would pair perfectly with these summer bolds.
The Charlote from LeDue is the perfect summer shoe. Fun and colorful, it has just the right amount of heel for either a flowing summer skirt or a pair of trouser shorts. Because this shoe does embody both the bold colors and the vivid print of summer, it would be best to wear this with solid, complimentary clothing. That way the shoe really stands out.
The Winnie would be a great option to compliment any bold colored outfit. This brown flat from Pink Studio has beading and leather embellishments that can stand up to a bold purple or orange accented dress.
The Rumba from C Label embodies the fun of these summer times looks. This yellow, slingback heel, open toe and bronze beading all scream summer.

I love the trend of having your shoes make the statement of your outfit, but could I follow this trend when it comes to a wedding? I’m getting married and I’m not a big fan of white shoes, could I have the ‘something blue’ be a killer pair of Manolos?
