No galoshes were needed this weekend as the sun was, once again, in abundance. We know, we know, it should be "raining cats and dogs" in Portland, Ore. during the fall, but we’re not complaining. Now, enough bragging about our splendid weekend weather and on to the weekend’s shoe and fashion happenings:

Whether you’re on your feet all day at work or are one for cramming and crunching your toes for the sake of fashion, there’s hope.
- Crafty costumes—Don’t have a Halloween costume? No problem. Follow three crafty Chicagoans on their quest to create fun and creative Halloween costumes out of household items. Who would’ve thought you could fashion a chicken mask out of coffee filters, a rubber glove and an empty box of cereal?
