Ulli by Bronx: Shoe Review

Nothing ropes me in like a good old-fashioned shoe sale. So when Shoefly announced their warehouse sale a short while back, I was there at lunchtime, ready to spend.

Apparently so was half of Portland.

Thankfully the gods have blessed/cursed me with “larger than your average bear” feet, so there were still plenty of styles to choose from by the time I arrived. I had been in the market for a nice black flat but, until then, had been out of luck.  Then I saw her—the Ulli by Bronx. She was perfect—leather, different (but still classy) design and a cute little bow to boot.  Hallelujah—I had met my match!

After wearing these flats a few times, pairing them with jeans and skirts alike, I have found them to be one heck of a comfortable shoe—and that means a lot when you’re walking multiple blocks to and from the bus stop.

The Ulli is a flat-out (natch!) great shoe for the fall season, you can bet I’ll be wearing mine long after the leaves change colors.
