Good Monday, friends. Once again there was no shortage of exciting shoe and fashion news over the weekend. Here are few bits we found particularly interesting:
- Crocs creates clothes—As if Crocs rubber clogs weren’t already enough, Crocs Inc. announces the release of its new apparel line. We have yet to see any Crocs clothing, but it’s said to be coming this October. We can’t wait… or can we?
- High school fashion fads—The New York Post asks five fashion-savvy teens what’s cool when it comes to going back to school. The teens discuss their favorite fashion, music, movie and technological fads. Expensive? Yes! But easy to be cool nonetheless.
- Denim Designer of the Year award goes to: No one yet, but a winner will be announced on Saturday, October 26 at the Los Angeles Fashion Awards. Nominees for best denim designer are:
- Pet Fashion Week—High-end fashion isn’t just for the rich, it’s for their pets too. At least that’s what we took from last week’s Pet Fashion Week where roughly 13 designers gathered to showcase their varied haute canine couture creations. Five hundred dollars for doggy denim?
