Reminder to self:  Even if the fancy-shmancy furniture store located in the posh downtown Portland Pearl District is strewn with signs that read “Store Closing, 50%-70% OFF, EVERYTHING must go!”  I still cannot afford the high-end designer furniture for my high-rise condo, (aka miniscule one bedroom apartment overlooking the oh-so beautiful highway).  Anyhow, why spend the money on a dining room table when you can eat on the comfort of your own floor in your new shoes. Thank goodness there is a shoe store that’s more considerate of my pocket book!
