Pastry Footwear – Shoes Not to be Worn in the Kitchen
Have you ever wondered what it would like if you took a comfortable athletic shoe and frosted it like cake? If so, check out the new line of athletic shoes designed specifically for woman by women, but manufactured by Run Athletics. Vanessa and Angela Simmons, the daughters of Joseph "Run" Simmons of Run DMC, are the masterminds behind Pastry Footwear.
Not to be worn in the kitchen, Pastry brand shoes launched earlier this week with its first line, ironically called "Cake." The shoes come in four flavors, Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Mousse, Sprinkles, and Red Velvet, and are modestly priced at around $65 per pair. Cake shoes are said to be the yummiest sneakers available to women looking for a stylish urban athletic shoe.
