Adidas – Changing the way we shop for shoes
One of the world’s most popular casual athletic shoe brands, Adidas, recently opened a store in Paris. Why is this news you ask… It’s news because shoes aren’t the only thing new at Adidas’s new Paris location. In addition to footwear and clothing, the store boasts virtual mirrors that are revolutionizing the way consumers shoe-shop. Imagine trying on a dozen different pairs of shoes in minutes without waiting for someone to retrieve your size from the back room. Amazing!
This is great news for people who try on a lot of shoes, but terrible news for people hiding things in their socks, because the mirrors use an x-ray to swap out your shoe for the virtual one. Now we can only hope shoe stores in the US and all over the world adopt this technology.

It sounds like a great idea, but what about fit and comfort?
